New Zealand – About as far as you can get from anywhere

I have enjoyed many aspects of New Zealand life.  These have been very different from any thing I was used to in the past.  These are a few of my pictures to show you my New Zealand.  I have not attempted to address the people themselves, that will have to wait for another extension to this site.  New Zealand is a beautiful land with a wide variety of landscapes.  It is the exact opposite of Somalia.  As the landscape is, so is the weather.  Sitting in the middle of a huge ocean, the weather is changeable.  It’s possible to have four seasons in one day!!  Somalia on the other hand is hot and dry; dry and hot!  I have not as yet seen much of the north island apart from Wellington and Auckland, so right now I am a true South Islander, or mainlander as we are called here.  I hope you enjoy my view of my adopted homeland.  The following pictures were taken during recent trips I made in the South Island.
